A Savior is Born- Part 2
Tonight is our last Collide of the year. We are finishing our series over the birth of our Savior. We played Santa Bingo as our game, giving out prizes for the winners. This game ties in to our lesson because of the response that the winner, and losers, have when the game is over. We are looking at the response of people in the birth story and how they worshiped or rejected it. Here are the slides from the talk.

A Savior is Born- Part 1- Prophesies Foretold
We are taking a break from our Old Testament Flashback Series and are doing a two part series over the birth of Christ. The first part we are looking at the prophesies of the Old Testament about the coming Messiah and comparing them to the New Testament story. Here are the slides below.
Old Testament Flashback- Jacob
We are almost out of the book of Genesis. We looked at the life of Jacob (aka Israel) and how he played a significant role as a Patriarch. We played a game called "Who is that?" where the students were giving real names to celebrities and they had to guess what their stage name is. I used this game to symbolize the name change that Jacob went through where his name was changed to Israel. Here are the slides from our talk.
