Tonight we looked at The Book of Judges.  We are moving along in the Old Testament and the judges are not the best years for the Israelites. Here are the slides that we used last night.

Old Testament Flashback - The Promise Land

This week we looked at the Hebrew people entering the Promise Land.  Our passages focused in the Book of Joshua. In this book the theme is that God is taking the lead and His people must be strong and courageous.  When His people did not allow God to take the lead we see the result of it in the Battle of Ai (Part 1).  We also showed a clip from VeggieTales about the Promise Land.  Here are the slides and the link to the clip.

Old Testament Flashback- Moses

We are out of Genesis and we looked at the life of Moses.  We covered 4 books in one night: Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. Here is what we discussed last night.

Old Testament Flashback- Joseph

We are now done with the Book of Genesis.  We spent a lot of time in Genesis because it really does set up the rest of the Old Testament as well as the Bible.  We looked at the life of Joseph and how his life can give us direction in our own lives.  Here are the slides from the talk.
